This job started out with a call from the home owner after a big rain storm. We removed all the roofing tiles in the leak area from the bottom to the top of the roof to ensure that the roof repair would last 10 plus years. We then installed two layers of 40# felt tile liner. We also installed 2 flashings per penetration, per building codes to update the home. Once all the felt is installed we then install all the existing tile back to the proper exposer. The skylight on this roof was cracked and old so we also replaced the skylight to make the home free of roof leaks. Tile roofs are very beautiful roofs and require routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and performance.
